Providing a dependable, high-quality water supply for our community.
NOTICE TO WATER DISTRICT PATRONS
September 10, 2026
Dear Water District Patrons,
Following an unfavorable routine water sample, the district has determined that a short-term preventative chlorination of the water system is necessary.
The district has been working diligently to repair numerous leaks throughout the system. There are several factors that can contribute to Total Coliform being detected in a water system, including the introduction of dirt and debris. In response to the sample result, we are completing, or have completed, a thorough assessment of the area in question to identify and address any potential contributing factors.
This decision was made with careful consideration. The health and safety of our patrons remains our foremost priority, and we are taking the necessary steps to ensure the continued safety and reliability of the water system.
We would like to sincerely thank the patrons in the affected area for their cooperation, patience, and understanding while we work through this process. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
As always, our team is available to answer questions or address concerns. For questions specifically related to this notice, the preventative chlorination, or water quality, please contact the district and ask for Nate or Jason, our licensed water system operators.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.
Sincerely,
Nate Kennicutt
Superintendent
